About Adrienne

This is where I am supposed to say a bit about who I am and what I want to be when I grow up.  When I figure it out, I will let you know.  In the meantime, here are a few of the roles I have had to date – mother, daughter, wife, ex-wife, wife again, granddaughter, student, registered nurse, singer, songwriter, athlete (martial arts, track and field, equestrian), team member (marching band, jazz band singer, a capella jazz quartet, large jazz singing group, choirs, business groups, Health Quality associations, public health planners), actor (plays, TV and movies – no, nothing you would remember, unless you saw Nunsense in Mt. Juliet, TN.), philosopher, mathematician (statistics), business analyst, strategic planner, public safety (Sheriff’s) planner and analyst.

Creatively the arts have provided unlimited opportunities for exploration.  Writing since junior high school has expanded into songs and stories, as well as the many articles done for business.  With the advent of the computer and internet, we now have “blogging”.  One more way for opinionated people to broadcast their ideas and call it “philosophizing”.  I DID mention I am a philosopher.  My days are divided between caring for our horses, our home, writing songs, and enjoying time with crafts – sewing clothes for our grandchildren, as well as knitting, crocheting and other needlework.  I also enjoy scrapbooking and making greeting cards using stamps and supplies from Close to My Heart, for whom I am a consultant.  Examples of my creative crafty creations may be viewed on my other blog.  This one is more for pontificating on philosophical and heavy-weight subjects.  Dear me, I think I’d best get a cup of tea now.
